On Saturday, March 15th, District 17 Director Mike Cope, my wife Sandy, and I attended the 42nd Iowa Taxidermy Association Competition and Show at the Sheraton in Des Moines. Every year the Iowa Trappers Association chooses what they feel is the best furbearer mount at this competition. This year's winner was a bobcat mount by Nathan Kelsey from Kirksville, MO.
